These Stanley Terms of Service (these “Terms”) govern your use of Stanley, an AI assistant for creators offered by Find Community, Inc. (dba Stan) (“Stan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Your use of Stanley is also governed by Stan’s Platform Terms (the “Platform Terms”) and our Privacy Policy, each incorporated by reference, as supplemented and modified by these Terms. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Platform Terms. In case of conflict, these Terms control for Stanley.
1. The Service.
Stanley helps you plan, write, schedule, and publish social media content. You can use Stanley by message (iMessage, SMS, WhatsApp, or Telegram), through the Stanley dashboard at getstanley.ai, and through the Stanley mobile app (together, the “Service”). Stanley is provided “as is” and “as available.” Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time. The disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations in the Platform Terms apply in full to the Service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts.
You represent that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age; (b) you have all rights necessary to connect your social media accounts and share the associated content with Stan; (c) your use of the Service will comply with all laws, regulations, and third-party terms applicable to you; and (d) you are not located in, and are not a national or resident of, any country or region subject to comprehensive United States sanctions or embargoes. Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login methods secure.
3. Connected Accounts and Third-Party Platforms.
You may connect accounts on third-party platforms, such as X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube (each a “Connected Platform”), using that platform’s own authorization flow. You agree that:
- You grant Stan the rights needed to access your connected accounts and their content to provide the Service, and to process that content through Stan’s systems and third-party AI providers consistent with the Privacy Policy. Stan accesses each Connected Platform only within the permissions you approve.
- You will comply with the terms, policies, and rules of each Connected Platform you use with Stanley, including the X Terms of Service, the LinkedIn User Agreement, the Instagram Terms of Use, the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok Community Guidelines, and the YouTube Terms of Service, as well as each platform’s rules on automation, content, and platform manipulation.
- You can disconnect a Connected Platform at any time from the Integrations page in the Stanley dashboard or from that platform’s own settings. Disconnecting stops Stanley from accessing or posting to that account.
- X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, and their related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. Stanley is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any Connected Platform.
4. Publishing and Your Content.
Stanley publishes to a connected account only at your direction: when you publish a post, or approve it and schedule it for a later time. Where a Connected Platform requires it, such as TikTok, you review each post and choose its settings (for example, who can view it, whether comments, Duets, or Stitches are allowed, and any content disclosure) before it is published. Nothing is published to TikTok until you confirm it.
You keep ownership of the content you create, upload, or publish with Stanley. You are solely responsible for all content drafted, generated, scheduled, or posted through the Service to your connected accounts, whether or not you reviewed it before publication. This includes liability for claims of defamation, infringement, right of publicity, harassment, or violation of law arising from such content.
5. AI Output.
The AI Technology terms in Section 6 of the Platform Terms apply in full to Stanley. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and you will exercise independent judgment before relying on or publishing it.
6. Acceptable Use.
You will not use the Service to: (a) post spam or engage in platform manipulation, such as fake engagement or coordinated inauthentic activity; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) create or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, or that violates a Connected Platform’s rules; (d) circumvent rate limits, usage limits, or access controls of the Service or any Connected Platform; or (e) reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
7. Messaging.
When you message Stanley, you agree to receive messages from Stanley on that channel, including replies, drafts, reminders, and updates about your account. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop SMS and iMessage messages at any time by replying STOP.
8. Subscriptions and Billing.
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. If your plan starts with a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in the Stanley dashboard or by messaging Stanley; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by the Platform Terms and applicable law.
9. Feedback.
Feedback, suggestions, and bug reports you provide are subject to Section 3(e) (Submissions) of the Platform Terms, granting Stan an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such Feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
10. Data.
Stan’s collection and use of your information is governed by the Privacy Policy. Stan processes content and metadata from your connected accounts to provide and improve the Service, and uses data received from a Connected Platform only to provide the features you use with that platform.
11. Suspension and Termination.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Stan may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including a violation of these Terms or a Connected Platform’s rules, with or without notice or liability to you.
12. General.
Stan may modify these Terms at any time by posting the modified version or otherwise providing notice, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance. The governing law, dispute resolution, and other general provisions of the Platform Terms apply. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder continues in effect.
